France! It's a country located in Western Europe known for its rich history, culture, and landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, France's population was around 67 million. French cuisine, art, fashion, and literature have had a significant global influence. Paris is the capital and largest city.
The flag of France consists of three vertical stripes of equal width: blue on the left, white in the middle, and red on the right. It is commonly known as the "Tricolour" or "Tricolor" flag and has been the national flag of France since the French Revolution in 1789.
France is known for its rich sports culture. Football (soccer) is immensely popular, with the French national team winning the FIFA World Cup twice. Rugby is also a major sport, with both Rugby Union and Rugby League being played. Tennis has a strong presence too, with the French Open being one of the four Grand Slam tournaments.
